Saturday, 28 August 2027. The ceremony and the celebration both take place at Hotel Plesnik, so once you arrive there is nowhere else to be.

After years of collecting places together, we're bringing everyone we love to our favourite one — a glacial valley at the end of the road in the Slovenian Alps, where the mountains close in on three sides and the evenings are long and quiet.

The place
Hotel Plesnik sits in the middle of Logarska Dolina, a glacial valley in the Kamnik–Savinja Alps in northern Slovenia, near Solčava. It's a protected landscape park — a few farms, a lot of meadow, and the Rinka waterfall at the valley head.
Getting there
The nearest airport is Ljubljana (LJU), around an hour and a half by car. Klagenfurt, Graz, Zagreb, Venice and Trieste are all realistic alternatives if the fares are kinder.
There is no practical public transport into the valley, so plan on driving or sharing a car. The park charges a small vehicle entry fee in season.
Where to stay
Hotel Plesnik and the neighbouring guesthouses are the closest beds, and the valley is small — rooms go early for an August weekend.
